Did you know that...

Do you know that a newborn child, a little thing of the Blue whale is… 7 m long?

The Blue whales child is called…calf. A calf is born after one year long pregnancy, it weights two tones and is 7 m long. The Blue whales are the fastest growing animals in the world. After just 12 months ‘a little thing’ weights 26 tones! A mother feeds its offspring with a very nourishing milk; a calf drinks 100 litres of it per day. Mother protects its children from killer whales and white sharks, which are particularly dangerous for them, pushing young ones into the middle of a group.
Mother and child’s caress manifest through touching each other’s noses.
